1. UNDERWATER LOOK
To create this look you need to shoot through water: Hold a clear plastic or glass container filled with water in front of your camera lens and shoot through it. This will give the photo a distorted and blurred effect, similar to the way objects appear underwater.
Create movement: Have the subject laying under the plastic container as if it’s underwater. You can also use a fan to create movement.
Next grab a powerful light spot source (I used the Aputure 300x) so that you are able to create water reflections on your object. When the light is too soft it won’t appear as if it’s underwater.
By following these practical techniques, you can create an underwater photo look without using Photoshop or actually having the object in the water.
Tip: make sure there is movement in the water above the object
2. USING A SMALL SPACE
When you have a lot of room you still can create awesome landscape and frames by using the right angle to shoot and props.
Use the rule of thirds: The rule of thirds is a composition technique that involves dividing your image into thirds both vertically and horizontally, then placing your subject or points of interest at the intersections of those lines. This creates a more balanced and visually interesting photo.
Experiment with angles: Try taking photos from different angles to find the most flattering and interesting perspective. Get down low or shoot from above, and see how different angles affect the final image.
Edit your photo: Editing can enhance the colors and contrast of your photo and make it look more polished. Use simple editing tools like brightness, contrast, and saturation adjustments to make your photo look its best.
3. MIRROR TRICK
Use your PC or TV as a background and use a mirror to put the object on to create this effect.
